The value of the fellowship
The Choate Fellowship consists of:
- A maintenance grant of at least $28,500 paid by Harvard University.
- Full tuition and health insurance fees.
Harvard University normally sets aside accommodation for the Choate Fellow each year should they require it. The room and board charges must be paid for by the Fellow from their maintenance grant together with any income tax that may be levied against the maintenance. The cost of transatlantic travel is also met by the Fellow.
