The value of the Fellowship
The Procter Fellowship (available to current British students at the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge – see Eligibility) consists of:
- A maintenance grant of not less than $42,000 for ten months (1 September to 30 June – paid in monthly instalments by Princeton University).
- Full tuition and other required fees paid by Princeton University.
Accommodation in the Graduate College at Princeton is set aside for Procter Fellows should they require it. The room-and-board charges are deducted from the maintenance grant. US federal income tax may be deducted from the maintenance grant and, in some circumstances, may be payable on tuition fees.
